Andrew Robinson was born in Suffolk and educated at the University of East Anglia. He has lived in Norfolk, Hertfordshire, Cambridge and Manchester. He now lives and works in Brighton.

He has worked in a variety of sectors including Universities, the Prison Service and the publishing industry. He has undertaken some training in counselling which has helped inform his exploration of the experience of space in the development of the psyche.
